Working from the life model and skeletal references, this workshop introduces students to the basics of proportion, bone structure and muscle groups.
Over the course of the day, you will be guided through a variety of structured exercises designed to strengthen your understanding of proportion and form, using dry materials to develop a variety of quick studies and sustained drawings. Whilst honing your skills in observing shape, light and shadow, you will create a series of simple studies.
This workshop will increase your confidence analysing the figure and accurately describing the body in space in your future artwork.
