Draw directly from the life model using chalk pastels.
Pastels are a great way to bring colour into life drawing. Working with different colour palettes and referring to artists such as Degas and Rubens – as well as contemporary practitioners – you will learn how to begin a drawing, mark-making techniques and ways of measuring.
With individual support from the tutor, each student will spend the remainder of the day working on a sustained pastel drawing of the model.
