A comprehensive introduction to the art of screenprinting.
Designed for complete beginners, as well as artists looking to expand their practice, this workshop will introduce you to the basic principles, concepts and terminologies of screenprinting.
Through tutor-led demonstrations and guided experimentation, you will explore a variety of techniques including colour blending, direct stencil-based imaging, hand-drawn and painted processes, paper stencils, found and manual positives, multi-layered printing, editioning, and print finishing.
Referring to your own reference material, you will develop a series of experimental and finished prints while strengthening your understanding of non-photographic screenprinting materials and processes.
