Working from the life model on an extended pose, you will have two full days in the studio, using oil paints to develop your sensitivity to colour, tone and structure.
Inspired by the teaching of Euan Uglow – particularly his idea that ‘a picture could be right without being like’ – you will be encouraged to move beyond a strict likeness towards a more expressive, resolved painting of the figure in space.
