Generate original painted compositions through collage, drawing and direct acrylic colour mixing.
To start the workshop, each student will select and cut printed imagery, before using a guided ‘lucky dip’ method to create unexpected visual combinations. Through decisive drawing, you will connect these collaged fragments to form coherent compositions, before integrating them seamlessly with carefully mixed acrylic paint.
With encouraging individual support from the tutor you will discover how, by balancing spontaneity with control, cohesive images can evolve without becoming overworked.
