Explore the intersection of the material and the spiritual, with John O’Donohue’s beautiful phrase ‘Shoreline of the Invisible’ as our starting point.

During this three-day course, we will each develop a series of mixed media pieces that reflect our own interpretation of spirituality, and gain a deeper understanding of how art can express our visible and invisible worlds.

Alongside hands-on experimentation and reflective exercises, we will take inspiration from poetry, music and the work of artists such as Mark Rothko, Agnes Martin, Paul Martin, John Schueler, Ann Hamilton and Paul Gaugin throughout.

All core materials and equipment included. Concession rates are available for those in receipt of income-assessed benefits.

NB: The course culminates in an informal exhibition of the week’s work, ending at 5.30pm on the final day.
