Hattie (she/her) joined Leith School of Art in summer 2025. Working part time, Hattie administers the programme of Short Courses and assists with financial operations. She gained experience in arts administration through previous roles with the Royal Scottish Academy and the National Galleries of Scotland.

Hattie is a writer of fiction and poetry. She graduated with an MA in Creating Writing from Royal Holloway, University of London, and an MA (Hons) in English Literature from University of Edinburgh. Her writing, which has been published in a number of literary journals and anthologies, is often inspired by visual art, as well as gender, illness, and place.
